Angelina Asbert, Miss Teen Charm Cuba 2021 wearing the national costume for the first edition of Miss Teen Charm International held in Cartagena, Colombia. The required rauna costume, which showcases the Cuban flag with the message of "Patria y Vida", that defined the uprising in Cuba, a composed song by Gente de Zona in collaboration with other Cuban artist Latin Grammy Award for Song of the year. In observance the resent outbreak protest in Cuba on July 11th, 2021, which became a demonstration in communities worldwide.
The cape made of eco fabric material is hand painted Cuban Flag to both sides of the cape with white doves painted on the backside, also placed on the headpiece, symbolizing peace and freedom. The final detail was the breaking chains which represents cry for liberty for the island of Cuba. This scene was featured on the TikTok platform which went viral with more than 200k views.
